2024
I have started an online course at the Swiss Academy Les Roches on customer service management, called ‘Fine dining service
2023
I have specialized in wine and sommelier service for high-end restaurants, so I'am studying the WSET2 to have a good knowledge about international wines.
I currently work at the Odoloste Michelin restaurant as a sommelier, advising customers and continually renewing the wine list.
2022
I worked 9 months in the Basaras wine bar in Bilbao learning how to communicate to customers different types of wines and match according to their tastes.
At the same time, I created a travel agency for italian speakers travelling to Bilbao. www.viaggiabilbao.com that nowadays it's almost automatically managed with a partner of mine.
I moved 3 months to Malta to improve my English skills.
2021
I worked at the Michelin star restaurant Nerua, in the Guggenheim Bilbao museum, as a waiter, having for the first time, experience in high-end restaurants.
2020
I started my 2 years high degree studies in food management and sommelier at the ESHBI school.
Except for the period of confinement by covid-19, I continued working at the Vincci hotel part-time.
2019
I start working at the Vincci Consulado hotel as a waiter, serving for the first time with international clients.
2018
I moved to Stuttgart, in the south of Germany, to learn German as is a really important language in the modern world, I stayed there 6 months.
2017
I moved to Florence for 10 months to learn Italian, while I worked in the Tempo Perso restaurant as a cook.
2016
I worked for 10 months in the Michelin star restaurant Aizian, in the Sheraton hotel in Bilbao, as a cook, training for the first time my learned skills in the kitchen.
2014-2015
I started my 2 years high degree studies in gastronomy and kitchen direction at the ESHBI school.
2012-2013
I made my High school diploma in Arts & Design.
7 languages?
Since I am 18 years old, I like languages for their ability to connect people from different parts of the world, so I always try to learn new words in other languages. I currently speak fluent Spanish (C2), English (C1) and Italian (C2) but I also have a good level in German (B1.2) and Basque (B2). Nowadays I'm mostly studying French (B1), and Portuguese (B1) and in all of them I have knowledge of technical vocabulary related to gastronomy and wine.
Where am I interested in teaming up?
I am interested in working in a high-end restaurant or hotel where customer service, wine service and perfection are valued. I can perform waiter tasks, as I am well organized, but what I really like is to advise customers with the choice of wine and to surprise them with stories about their wine.
